Bridal Make-up Lessons

Before coming to the lesson I will get you to complete a bridal make-up lesson questionnaire, this will give me a good idea about the look you are trying to achieve and your skin type and tone. I will also recommend that you bring with your make-up bag so I can have a look at what you have, you never know you might have a hidden gem in there that will be perfect for you to use on your wedding day alongside other products I have suggested.

As I am a freelance make-up artist I don't sell any products and having a wide range of carefully selected brands allows me to use the best possible product combinations to suit your skin type and tone.

At the lesson I will teach you and your bridal party step by step how to create the prefect camera ready look. You will learn how to accentuate your eyes for the cameral and how to apply foundation so you look flawless in your pictures but not to overdone to the naked eye. I will also advise you on products and application methods to keep your makeup fresh looking and in place during your wedding day.

what my clients say

"Dear Faye,
I had a make-up lesson with you right before my wedding in March and now I have my photos back I thought you might like to see how I did on the day! . I really enjoyed the makeup lesson and I learned so many useful tips! It was brilliant to have a bit of "me time" in the run-up to the wedding, and of course I still have all the wonderful products you recommended so I can look super glamourous whenever I want! I really appreciated that you took time and effort to think about what I wanted and had even researched the look we discussed before I came for my session - I would definitely recommend you to a friend (and I have done). I hope you like the photos (and I hope you think I did your teaching justice!).
Best wishes,
Fran
PS the foundation and blusher you recommended were AMAZING and every time I use them people ask me where they're from - the blusher in particular I would never have chosen for myself, but now I don't consider myself properly made up without it!!"

Fran - Bridal Makeup lesson 2013
"Hi Faye. Thank you ever so much for both the lesson and the very prompt tip sheet. I really enjoyed it and loved the way my make up looked. It's such a shame you're not free on the big day.
I thought the products you suggested were great, so I've already started using some of them. All the best, and if I hear of any bride looking for a make up artist I will definitely point them in your direction"

"Hi Faye, Just wanted to thank you again for my make-up lesson prior to my wedding day in September.I really enjoyed it and then felt a huge sense of achievement when I managed to recreate it both the afternoon before and then on the actual morning"
Karine - Bridal Make-up Lesson August 2007

"Dear Faye. I would like to say it again, I enjoyed the lesson very much, it gave me a better knowledge of how to apply makeup appropriate for my friends wedding . I especially like the magical spray from Makeupforever that you reccomended, it makes my make up last longer than ever. I my blusher was still on at the end of the day without any touch up"
